Dan and I met in the early 1990s as members of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Working closely together, we quickly discovered that not only were we both passionate about woodworking but we had each spent a lot of our free time doing extensive remodeling for both family and friends. The talk of someday going into business together was brought up from time to time but never seriously. Then in 2015, after both leaving the exchange, the talk became reality. S Squared Cabinetry and Remodeling was born.

After having built a reputation for quality work and straight forward honest pricing, in early 2018 we introduced S2 Closet Systems.

As S2 Closet Systems we have teamed up with Chicagoland’s premier manufacturer of custom components specifically designed for function and performance.  Our goals as S2 remain;  top-notch customer service, fair pricing and professional installation.

It’s still just the 2 of us, from 1^st contact to measuring, designing and installing your system. We will be with you every step of the way.

• Custom built ins: We strive to design pieces that fit into to your decor and look like they have always been there. After initial meet and measure we’ll offer a estimate. If an agreement is made we move to the design stage. After we agree upon the details, your project will be built in our shop. This is to keep household disruption to installation time only.
• Closets: We offer design services and custom storage solutions to meet your needs. We are partnered with Chicago-land’s premier storage systems manufacturing company. S Squared offers quality locally produced systems with a vast selection of options and configurations. If you have shopped for custom closets in the past, you will be very pleased with our pricing.
